CDMA:Code Division Multiple Access. A protocol for wireless data and voice communication, used in cellphone networks and other communications systems. The transmitted data spreads over more than one radio frequency, which is a more efficient use of the radio spectrum. Other protocols, such as 1xRTT ( CMDA2000), are being developed on top of CDMA. |
